The LUSH life

Weekends are for pampering. And there is no better way to pamper yourself than with a Lush bath. When I occasionally quite frequently venture into Lush, I always feel quite overwhelmed with how many products they have to offer; which usually ends up with me buying far too many products than I should. If you are in the same boat as me, in the respect that you can never decide what exactly to purchase, I have put together a list of my 5 favourite products to *hopefully* help your decision.

What bath bomb wouldn't be good with a name like that? This is a combination of my 2 favourite things: floral scents and pink bubbles. It smells like ylang ylang and jasmine and foams-away to leave a pink/lilac bubbly bath.

Again, following the theme of pink bubbles, the comforter turns the bath water baby pink and bubbly, giving off a bubble gum smell. One bar also last for numerous baths (my current has already been used for 3 already) and creates bubbles easily when crumbled under running water - perfect if you're a frequent bather.

If you like coarse scrubs (and mojitos), this is the one for you. It it a very lime-y scrub-y scrub that makes your skin soft and refreshed at the same time. However, I wouldn't recommend use on your face if you have sensitive skin.

I must admit, when I use this, the smell always makes me want to drink it. As, to me it smells like fresh, sugary lemonade. It is not like a normal scrub; when you scoop it out and rub it over you, the particles dissolve into more of a silky shower gel, rather than being harsh like usual scrubs - perfect for every day use. It can also be used in your hair to create volume (a bit like BIG); which is what I like to use it for best.

The best thing about it is the thick texture that melts into the skin without leaving a horrible residue - it must be the cocoa butter in it. It also has the strong, fresh smell of neroli and orange, which lingers for a long time after use. The downside is that the pot can get quite messy.

In essence of cutting down basket size at Lush, 4 of the 5 products mentioned above can be purchased (to my glee) in the Hello Gorgeous set, which also comes with a moisturiser!

Have you tried any of the above? I would love to hear your go-to Lush products.
