Just a quick one today on the top 5 very inexpensive products that I pretty much use daily. So here it goes...
1) Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Sugar and Spice - £6 - Superdrug
This palette has to be my favourite of all of my inexpensive beauty purchases. It has great colour pay-off and a great range of colours for any skin tone. The highlighter in the top right-hand corner has to be one of my top favourites ever (I even prefer it over my Benefit High Beam).
2) Infallible Lip Liner in Always Toasted - £5.10 - Boots
Okay, I'm not sure if this counts as a 'budget' lip liner as it is £5 for very little product, but it is still a 'drugstore brand' and is inexpensive compared to other makeup products. This lip liner is a great nude colour for most lips, goes on easily, lasts a long time and also comes with a screw top so there's no need to fuss about with sharpeners - something I always have trouble with.
3) Miss Sporty Fabulous Lash Mascara - £1.99 - Boots
This is a firm mascara favourite of mine, and I have tried a lot of mascaras. If you haven't already, you need to try this; at £1.99 it is accessible for any budget and gives a lengthening, non-clump finish. What's not to like?
4) Miss Sporty So Clear Pressed Powder - £1.99 - Boots
Another winner from Miss Sporty, again this is another cheap product that I prefer over any other brand. Powders usually clog my pores and make me break out and this is the only powder, with good coverage, that doesn't do that. Another one to try if you haven't already.
5) Primark Long Wear Nail Polish in Nude - £1.50 - Primark
To be completely honest when I picked this up I wasn't expecting much, but I really liked the colour and for £1.50 though I would give it a go anyway. I'm so glad I did! This gave a really nice finish, was a lovely colour with just one coat and lasted at least 4 days without chipping (something unheard of when it comes to my nails). I can't wait to try the other colours in the range.
So that concludes my top 5 budget buys. What are your top 'cheap' beauty essentials?
