Colours (left to right): Rose Hip, Almond, Plum & Sugar Apple
So, I realised I haven't done a review in a while, or even a post for that matter, therefore I wanted to share with you something I've been a bit obsessed with this month (as obsessed as you can be with a nail varnish).
My little obsession (as you probably have guessed) is the Barry M Gelly High-Shine Nail Paint - I've put in a few 'action shots' below so you can see the nail varnish in, well... action.

At the moment there seems to be a general trend for gel/shellac nails. I love the look of gel nails but I change my mind so often, in regards to nail colour, that I don't think I could keep the same colour for weeks - that's where these come in. To be completely honest I haven't actually tried any other gel-effect nail varnishes, as I like this one and it's by far the cheapest I've seen at £3.99! After finding the link I have just seen they are now available at 2 for £7 at boots... hmm...
The consistency is thick therefore you could get away with one coat, but I usually go for two. It dries as a high shine finish - which I love - and last for a long time. What's not to like? The colour range is also quite good; I really do want to buy them all. My favourite is 'Almond', it is such a nice nude that goes with anything. Now I've tried these I don't think I can go back to 'normal' nail varnishes again.
What are your experiences with gel-effect nail varnish? I would love to know of any other alternatives if you have any suggestions!
