Full face of Charlotte Tilbury + a honest review

I have a love/hate relationship with Charlotte Tilbury makeup. I love the packaging and (most of) the formulas, but I just can't help thinking that sometimes it's not worth the price. I've found that some products have been firm favourites, however, a few have been disappointing. Here is my run-through of a 'full face' of Tilbury bestsellers and my thoughts on them...

Light Wonder Foundation - 2 Fair

I really wanted to love this foundation as from it's description it sounded like the perfect foundation for me "Featuring ingredients to smooth, hydrate, illuminate, minimise pores AND reduce wrinkles." I had also heard great reviews. However, although the coverage, colour range and finish is good, for me it clings to dry patches and really accentuates them (even if I didn't think my face was dry?). Overall it's a good foundation, however, I don't think I would repurchase as I don't think it is worth the £34.

Instant Look in a Palette - Natural Beauty

This has to be my favourite CT purchase and is definitely the best value. As you might already know, I also included this in my Best of Beauty last year. In the whole palette you get 3 eye shadows, a bronzer, a highlighted and 2 blushers. The formula is also amazing. As you can see it's definitely well used. Soz, this one is actually sold out at the moment, but there is a new winter edition just launched on the CT website called Gorgeous, Glowing Beauty which looks really nice too.

Eyes to Mesmerise - Bette

I really like the formula of this as it's long lasting and easy to use, the colour selection is also great therefore, I would purchase this again. However, I do think there might be cheaper alternatives available for this and I'm keeping a look out for them.

Legendary Brows - Supermodel

Not as keen on this one. It does the job of brushing my brow hairs, however, I feel like it doesn't do much more then any other tinted brow gel, but that might be because my eyebrows are already quite dark.

Rock N Kohl Eyeliner - Barbarella Brown

Sooo, I realised when I went to do the pics for this that I have lost it, so had to use a substitute! HOWEVER, I know I really like this eyeliner, but there definitely are cheaper alternatives out there - my favourites being Mac Eye Kohl in Teddy and L'Oreal Never Fail eyeliner in Brown

I loved reading this post! I recently discovered Charlotte Tilbury (well, I knew the brand for a while but never purchased products until recently) and developed an obsession, since I absolutely love the lipsticks and the Bar of Gold highlighter palette.

I expected the foundation to be super good but once I heard someone talking about how it looks like the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Matte foundation, I was hesitant because this foundation was too drying for me. Now I see you talking about it clingy to dry patches, I pretty sure I shouldn't try this foundation. The face palette is a must after this review!
