A few weekends ago, Bec, Sophie P and I decided to end a hard week with a catch-up and brunch. Therefore, we headed on down to one of my local restaurants for a boozy brunch, or as it's called at New Street Grill, a 'bottomless brunch'.
If you haven’t heard of a bottomless brunch before, it’s basically brunch with bottomless drinks. At New Street Grill, and most other places, you book a 1 and a half hour slot to eat and drink as much as you would like.
Our drink of choice was naturally, prosecco.

We were seated overlooking the courtyard - the perfect place for the best view.
You get 2 options
with the boozy brunch – you can either order a main meal or, like we did, order
a 2-3 course meal with a starter, a main (£20), and if you feel up for it, a pudding as well (£25). The bottomless prosecco is then
added on top for £15 pp.
The brunch runs from 11am - 4pm so you have time for a lie in too.

Not too bad.
To start off you get to choose between plain or rosemary
bread to have on the side: our favourite was the Rosemary.
For the first course, Sophie P and I went for the pancakes with maple syrup, blueberry compote & vanilla cream...
....and Bec went for the black pudding scotch egg with rocket.

For the second course, the Sophies were twinning again and went for the salt cod fishcake with gem heart salad & Tzatzki...
We decided not to go for the 3 courses. However, they did
bring out a few cakes at the end to finish off the meal – mini brownies and
almond cakes.
After brunch, we headed into the bar to finish off our
prosecco and nibble on some complementary truffle popcorn.
Afterwards, we headed
over to Old Spitalfields Market for the rest of the afternoon...
...The perfect way to spend a Saturday.

Yes! For sure!
I've never heard of places that do this before but it sounds like you had such a nice Saturday. That food looked so good as well, especially the rosemary bread!
