A Swedish Christmas in Oxford

As you probably don’t know, Ted is half Swedish. Therefore, before he left university for Christmas he wanted to have a Christmassy night with his house mates; Swedish style. We made the classic Jansson’s temptation, ate meatballs and drank shots (snaps) with Swedish drinking songs. The classics being Helan Går and Nu Tar Vi Den; the only link I could find to explain Nu Tar Vi Den is this video, just so you know, I didn't make this video. Enjoy! Between the courses everyone has to sing one of the songs, take a shot and eat a piece of pickled herring; something that is very strange to me, but fun nevertheless.

It was a very different way to celebrate Christmas with friends for us, and we all had a great night!
